We are most excited for our newest endeavor of raising our pollinator friends, the honeybees.  They serve our garden well and keep our kids enamored with their pollen sacks filled to the brim.  Their work is exquisite and something that we’ve never witnessed.

These insects are truly God sent – there is no way to explain their brilliant minds and patterns and we are looking forward to this years activity!

2015 was pretty successful with our dear honeybees. We managed 4 hives of which 3 were honeyful.  We’ve done some moving and are hoping 2016 is even more successful.

Honey will begin being harvested in July.  They say the “Honey is flowing” as soon as the clover begins to flower and we are hoping to see the fruits again this year!

If plentiful, we will have honey for sale beginning in late July.
